National School of Public Health (ESDY)
National School of Public Health (NSPH) was founded in Greece in 1929 aiming to provide training, post-graduate training and specialized training for scientific health professionals, as well as to study all scientific and technical questions directly or indirectly connected with public health. NSPH is dedicated to carry out scientific research in all the fields of public health and preventive medicine, to conduct public health and laboratory investigation and testing in matters of public health. One of it's tasks is to supply the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Social Services and other sections of the civil service with its expert opinion on matters which fall within its competence.
The National School of Public Health is currently providing courses in various themes concerning public health like postgraduate training programmes in the following fields: a. Public & Environmental health. b. Public & Environmental health management. c. Occupational health. d. Health & Environmental engineering . Due to the big teaching and organizing experience of the staff it will extensively contribute for the development of competence based collaborative blended learning model implementation, in transfer activities, in products/outcomes elaboration, and in valorization methods and valorization techniques. They will also participate in milestones establishment, in structuring activities and establishment of practical guidelines for project performance.
