Bio-FIT Qualification passport provides information on all relevant competencies of VET professionals and other specialists working in the agricultural sector should be able to demonstrate. It assists in the development of:
- Arrangement of education and training process;
- Identifying need of learning outcomes;
- Applying self-assessment tool to evaluate the level of competency.
It also helps the employers to identify ongoing training and development needs. The main goal in its development is to facilitate VET teachers/trainers in their continuing professional development e.g. as a tool to use for assessment of own knowledge and skills. Bio-FIT qualification passport also represents the general directions for how to develop and present a set of documents certifying the academic, professional and service accomplishments a trainee has achieved during defined study/training period.
